Karakorum-The ancient capital of Mongolia
The Symbolic ruins of Karakorum, the ancient capital city of Mongolia is one of the most popular travel destinations along with Erdenezuu monastery, the second largest Buddhist monastery in the country. Karakorum city was established in 1220 and served as the capital city of the Mongolia for 140 years.

Erdene zuu Monastery
Erdene zuu, the first of Buddhist Monastery in Mongolia. Was built next to the ruins of Mongolia’s ancient capital it Karakhorum in 1585 on the order of Abtai San Khaan. Historical records suggest that the remnants of the capital building it were used in the construction of the Monastery. Today this beautiful monastery contains 108 stupas and attracts numerous tourists to see one of the best examples of traditional Mongolian Buddhist architecture.

Taikhar Rock
Mysterious Taikhar Chuluu rock stands not from Tsetserleg town. The rock is steep sided pinnacle of granite with a height of 25 meters. It rises abruptly from the flat grassland in the Basin of Tamir River. Locals worship the rock as a deity. There is no common agreement amongst geologists about the origin of this puzzling phenomenon, and it remains an enigma.

Day 1 Arrive in Ulaanbaatar and City tour
Arrival to Ulaanbaatar and check in hotel.

Day 2 Elsen tasarhai sand dune, Karakorum ancient capital
Today we’ll start the journey to Elsen tasarhai sand dune and Karakorum ancient capital. We’ll drive around 280 km through steppe by overview of land-sea. The Karakorum – capital city of Great Mongol Empire founded in times of Chinggis Khaan - 13th century. Meanwhile, we will visit the oldest Monastery – Erdene-Zuu, with 108 stupas and was built in 1586 and explore the daily meeting of monks – how they’re praying, reading the sutra. Lunch and dinner will be supplied in real nature with convenient and comfortable chairs and table. Overnight in tourist camp.

Day 3  Erdene Zuu monastery and Karakorum city
After breakfast, drive to Karakorum – capital city of Great Mongol Empire founded in times of Genghis Khan - 13th century. Meanwhile, we will visit the oldest Monastery – Erdene-Zuu, with 108 stupas and was built in 1586 and explore the daily meeting of monks – how they’re praying, reading the sutra. Then will drive back to Khogno Khan mountain. On the way will visit local horse breeding family to experience nomads way of life. Dinner and overnight in ger camp.

Day 4 Taihar Rock
After breakfast, we will drive to Taikhar rock. Lunchbox. After arrival in Taikhar rock will explorie the river, nature landscape and wildlife by walking and can have good photo shots. You will ride a horse, bear foal, milk mare, cow and sheep and meet method to move the yurt. Dinner and overnight in tourist camp.

Day 5 Relax and Live with Nomadic Family
After breakfast,we have a day trip to Hello Mountain – exciting place. Lunch. As well, you will arrive to your yurt and it’ll be waiting for you which is new and nice and purposed for you.Dinner. Little Horse riding tour. Overnight in the tent.

Day 6 Tsenher hot spa
After breakfast, drive back to Tsetserleg administrative center of Arkhangai province. Lunch – picnic. Drive to Tsenkher hot spa, which water temperature reaches up to + 80 C degrees and have a bath under blue sky. Explore the local area by walking. Dinner and overnight in tourist camp.

Day 7 Ulaanbaatar
After breakfast, Drive back to Ulaanbaatar and Lunchbox. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 8 Ulaanbaatar and 500 horse show
After breakfast, we have city tour. Included “Genghis’s cavalry again” 500 horsemen’s show and Zaisan Hill and Sukhbaatar Square, History museum … and other Mongolian top destinations. Lunch, Dinner and overnight in Ulaanbaatar hotel.

Day 9 Departure
After breakfast will be transferred from hotel to train station or airport.

Most meals are included as specified in the itinerary. Meal codes are: B=Breakfast, L=Lunch, D=Dinner.

Breakfast
- Each breakfast will be served in your hotel. Breakfast selections include both Mongolian and Western dishes to meet every diner's taste.

Lunch - Lunches are normally arranged at the Mongolian restaurants near the scenic spots. Your tour guides will order food according to your appetite. Most are Mongolian dishes, and some are modified to fit westerners' tastes. A complimentary glass of beer or soft drink is served with lunch.

Dinner - Same as lunch. If you prefer to not eat Mongolian food, Gobi sunshine – Mongolia tours suggests you have dinner on your own. Your local tour guide can recommend some good western restaurants in the area.
