DESTINATIONS
Khentii Landscape The characteristic flora of the region is that of the Baikal-Daurian and Mongolian-Daurain mountain steppe. As high as the upper river courses (2000-2200 m), poorly accessible cedar and cedar-larch forests with lots of moss and cranberries are representative of the taiga massif .  Overall, 50 mammal species are known from the Khentii. Important predators are brown bear (Ursus arctors), wolf (Canis lupus), lynx (lynx lynx), wolverine (Gulo gulo) and sable (Matres zibelliana). Large herbivores are represented by the maral, a sub-species of red deer (Cervus elaphus maral), moose (Alces alces pfizenmayeri), Siberian roedeer (Capreolus pygargus) and musk deer (Moschus moschiferus). [More...] Gorkhi-Terelj National Park  Khan Khentii Strictly Protected Area In 1993, the Gorkhi-Terelj area was gazetted as a National Park, specialy because of its natural scenic beauty it has been used as a tourism destination by both Mongolians and foreigners since 1964. The park is situated only 50 km Northeast of the capital city Ulaanbaatar, in the Southern foothills of the Khentii Mountains. The park's most spectacular features are its huge granite blocks and cliffs as well as meadows rich in wild flowers. Itineraries

Day 01 Ulaanbaatar Arrival to Ulaanbaatar and check in hotel. Day 02 City tour City tour including of Gandan Monastery, Sukhbaatar square, Zaisan hill to preview whole city and one museum with optional varieties Natural History Museum. In the evening we’ll have exciting performance in Tumen Ekh Chuulga to see traditional folklore such as dance, song, mask dance. Hotel. Day 03 Khodoo aral-the place of the Great Genghis Khan After breakfast, we will drive to the birthplace of the Great Genghis Khan /Khodoo aral/. Lunchbox. The Khodoo Aral is one of the part of Khenty Mountain Range. Dinner and overnight in tourist camp. Days 04-06 The place of the Great Genghis Khan After breakfast, we can have the riding around the birth place and taking the picture of beautiful nature. Lunchbox. Overnight in tent. Day 07 Ulaanbaatar- Terelj National Park After breakfast, we can driveback to Ulaanbaatar. Lunch – restaurant in Terelj National Park. We will explore Turtle rock person who reading book and others – by horse riding. Over night in tourist camp. Day 08 Ulaanbaatar Today in the morning we driveback to Ulaanbaatar. Shopping. Lunch. We are traveling in Mongolia. We will leave tomorrow. But now we are writing our appreciation on a “Tourist’s impressions” note. We went to a old Horgo volcano-traveled in Terhiin Tsagaan lake with a horse for eight days. My daughter loved her horse and wanted to take him back with her. Haha, Further more, Mongolian people area very civil, kindness and their migrate methods are very exotic.
Just like driving a benz. Haha, so we promised we will come back and see a beautiful Gobi. (Continue)
